We are the Kiwanis Club of Northeast Spokane (NEK) and we are committed to changing the Spokane community one child at a time.  Our meetings, projects, and activities are open to any and all who are interested in serving their community, making beneficial business and networking contacts, increasing their civic awareness, and creating some lasting relationships along the way.

And… speaking of support to the program. The 2025 Kiwanis-sponsored Holiday Happy Hour is coming up! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, December 3 at 5:30pm This year’s event will be at Riverside Place 1110 W Riverside Ave, downtown Spokane.

This is a great opportunity to learn a little more about Kiwanis support for kids’ camping experiences, enjoy some delicious appetizers, wine and cocktails, win some wonderful prizes in the raffle, and hear from individuals and organizations that have benefited from the Camps for Kids program. We hope to see you there at this year’s event!

We meet every Friday morning at 7:00 AM at Frankie Doodles restaurant.  Check out the Club Calendar” menu for directions and a list of upcoming speakers.  In addition to a terrific variety of speakers and topics, our meetings are a great way to learn about upcoming projects and our involvement in volunteer activities such as:

  • Camps for Kids financial assistance fund
  • Joya
  • Camp Fire, Inland Northwest
  • Our sponsored youth at Mt. Spokane high school and Rogers high school
  • Girl Scouts of Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho
